BONE SICKNESS On Tour Now

Olympia, Washington’s rancid pallbearers BONE SICKNESS today embark on their ultra-D.I.Y. Western US tour in support of their debut 12”, Alone In The Grave, unearthed by 20 Buck Spin in April. With several show confirmations still being locked down, today the grim Haunting The Grave 2013 caravan begins with a hometown show and then traverses south through California, Nevada, Texas and more before looping back to their gruesome origin, sharing the stage with Rude for the trek. Everyone in the path of this procession should be wary for updates as the murkier details of this brutal venture are confirmed.

BONE SICKNESS recalls some of the earliest and most savage days of death, grind and punk into a beastly and belittling American death metal. Their debut 12”, Alone In The Grave, unleashes a maelstrom of breakneck intensity in the tradition of Repulsion, Autopsy, early Napalm Death, Infest, Despise You and others, aborting seven tracks in under twenty minutes. MAGRUDERGRIND / DESPISE YOU Tour Dates

On the heels of last year's "Crusher" EP, and recently back from European dates in Finland, Sweden, and the Czech Republic (as well as the Obscene Extreme Fest where they performed with the likes of Entombed, Brujeria, Brutal Truth and more), Washington DC/New York CIty grindcore trio Magrudergrind has announced plans to set out on a series of East Coast tour dates kicking off this September. Along for the ride will be West Coast powerviolence veterans Despise You (ex Spazz / East/West Blast Test), who themselves will be taking part in their first ever East Coast tour in support of their recently released and critically acclaimed split LP with Agoraphobic Nosebleed on Relapse Records.

Making stops in most major cities along the way from Boston to Gainesville, the tour will meet up with special guests including Floor, Suppression, Defeatist, Cannabis Corpse, Primate, Shitstorm, Asshole Parade, and will feature two stops in Florida, a state Magrudergrind has not performed in since 2009.

In addition to the dates with Despise You, Magrudergrind will also be performing at this year's Best Friends Day in Richmond, The California Discord Fest in Los Angeles and TheFest in Florida, and are currently writing material for a new full length album tentatively scheduled for release in 2012.

BARONESS & CITIZENS ARREST Added to CHAOS IN TEJAS

Chaos in Tejas, the country's greatest gathering of underground punk, hardcore, indie, grind, thrash, and heavy metal heroes old and new from around the world, has just announced the final additions to this year's 2011 event.

In addition to the previously confirmed performances by Killing Joke, Converge, Autopsy, Unbroken, Tragedy, Fucked Up, Youth of Today, Doom, Dillinger Four, F.Y.P, Omar Souleyman, Seein' Red, Orange Goblin, Guitar Wolf and more, Chaos is proud to announce additional headlining performances by newly crowned metal kings Baroness, and legendary East Coast hardcore band Citizens Arrest!

Taking place in downtown Austin, TX, Chaos in Tejas is the punk rock version of SXSW, hosting some of the biggest, most renown, and most historic names in the counter-culture underground. Drawing in fans from all corners of the globe to fill the city's streets and venues, the event aims to bring some of the noisiest and most memorable experiences of their adult and adolescent lives.

FLOOR Tour - 1st Time in 8 Years

Floridian heavy trio FLOOR are about to embark on their first proper tour in over eight years. Since disbanding, FLOOR's overdue notoriety has slowly grown, due in part from laying the foundation for guitar player/vocalist Steve Brooks' non-stop activity in TORCHE.

Reuniting to celebrate the release of their massive "Below & Beyond" discography/box set, FLOOR returned for a few key shows over the past year to an overwhelmingly positive response. As a result, the band is now hitting the road for the first time since 2003. In regards to the tour, Brooks had the following to say:

"It's a celebration. Celebrating our 19 years together, apart, back together, apart and back together again! Dropping bombs like it's Floorld War III!"

MUTILATION RITES - Tour Dates + New Release

Brooklyn-based black metallers *MUTILATION RITES have been furiously busy doing the devil's work since 2009, criss-crossing the USA (and Mexico!) bringing total aural devastation unto all who fall under their spell. They have just announced the beginning of yet another mammoth American tour, one that hits nearly every corner of the country and sees them sharing stages with the likes of Batillus, Hull, The Body, Weekend Nachos, Valdur, Necrite, Woe, and many other underground dwellers. The band will be appearing at this year's edition of SXSW as well as the Oakland Black/Death Fest, and are kicking things off with a hometown show with Eyehategod, Magrudergrind, and Misery Index tomorrow night (February 18th, 2011).


After a few lineup changes, MUTILATION RITES has solidified into their deadliest incarnation yet. Their sound draws from the poisoned wells of blackthrash, doom, and crust punk, as well as referencing the ravishing grimness and ice-cold tremolo picking of the mid-90's Scandinavian masters; the result is ugly, hateful, and distorted, just as a New York black metal band should be. The band features current and former members of Tombs, Disassociate, Curandera, Rabia, and Heuristic.


MUTILATION RITES are also gearing up to release three brand-new songs on cassette (courtesy of Poison Infiltration) as well as a split with Brooklyn bros BATILLUS on Shinebox later this year. The songs were recorded with Kevin Bernsten (of TRIAC) at Developing Nations in Baltimore, and will rip your fucking face off.

DEATH Comes to CALIFORNIA - New Recording Out in January

Death is the three Hackney brothers, fueled by the raucous sounds of Iggy & Co., creating their own take on the emerging sounds of punk. Socially conscious lyrics mixed with a sky-cracking combination of guitar and vocals, all recorded in raw fashion with little in the way of polish. In the last year, Death have stunned audiences in New York, Detroit, Chicago and Austin and now it's your turn California! For the first time (ever), Death comes to Los Angeles and San Francisco. You won't want to miss this for a second!

Death's 2009 critically claimed release For The Whole World to See... took the music world by storm with headlines such as "Death was Punk Before Punk was Punk" (Mike Rubin, New York Times) and quotes such as "a wild and exhilarating garage rock album from the 1970s, with a backstory of such mythological heft that it seems, initially at least, implausible." (John Mulvey, Uncut) Peter Margasak of the Chicago Reader says "The oldest of the brothers, guitarist David, pushed the group in a hard-rock direction that presaged punk, and while this certainly didn't help them find a following in the mid-70s, today it makes them look like visionaries." Filter Magazine quotes Mos Def saying: "These dudes were pre-Sex Pistols, pre-Bad Brains, pre-all that shit, and nobody knows them. I don't understand how the whole w orld could forget them."

Detroit rockers Death have a new collection of demo recordings coming out in January. This musical archive consists of nine raw demo tracks, recorded in Detroit Michigan from 1974 to 1976. Seven of the songs, were recorded in The Room on a two track reel to reel stereo recorder. Two of the songs were recorded at Groovesville Studios and one song was recorded at the legendary United Sounds recording studio. Many of the tracks on this project served as pre-production for Death's pivotal album ...For The Whole World To See. This particular collection of demos and out-takes is a wonderful journey through the early (and late) stages of Death. The tracks are raw, untouched and just the way they were meant to be heard. So turn on your mind, close your eyes and enjoy this wild, wild trip. The story about how Bobby came across these tapes in Detroit last summer is incredible. Almost as incredible as it's going to be to see Death in San Francisco and Los Angeles with amazing support such as Sic Alps (tbc), RTX and Zolar X.
